A few days ago we have discussed about Pop!_OS. It is an Ubuntu based distribution created by System76. Ubuntu 20.10 was recently released and now Pop!_OS 20.10 has also been released. Pop!_OS 20.10 is based on Ubuntu 20.10. It is designed specifically for the hardware of System76 PCs.
In the previous post of Pop! _OS, we discussed about how you can tile all the windows in it. Sometimes Tiled windows become so small that it becomes difficult to work in them. In new version of Pop!_OS stacking feature has been added. As you have arranged tabbed different pages in the web browsers as tabs, through Stacking you will be able to keep the tiled window in Pop! _OS as tab. Fractional scaling support has also been added. With this release Hybrid graphics support has also been added for external monitors.
If you are running Pop!_OS 20.04, you can upgrade to 20.10 via the Settings application (or the
pop-upgrade release upgrade command).
Pop!_OS 20.10 will require at least 2GB of RAM and 16GB of free space. By the way, 4GB of RAM and 20GB of free space is recommended.
