Google has banned the Zoom app from all employee computers

Zoom app has become popular among various employees working from home during the lockdown, on the other hand, due to security flaws Google has barred its employees not to use the zoom app. According to a report, Google has asked its employees to remove this app from their computers and mobiles.

Recently there were reports that stated that the calls in the zoom app are routing through servers in China. It might be possible that the Chinese government could get access to the video call happening around the world. This is a matter of great concern about privacy and security

Even in India, politicians and government officials are now using the zoom app quite a lot. This increases the risk of confidential information being exposed. Recently Defense Minister Shri Rajnath Singh Ji was seen using the zoom app.

India has a large number of IT professionals but is limited to providing cheap labor to foreign companies only. Indian companies pay less attention to developing software products. India does not have any video conferencing app of its own. Therefore, it is now necessary that software companies of India work in this direction.
